If you are a passionate and experienced hiker or love long walks in nature, the area surrounding Hotel L’Ulivo offers numerous itineraries that differ in intensity and duration.
You can choose trekking for a few hours or try your hand at excursions that can even extend for a few days.
The excursions to Cala Luna, Cala Sisine or Cala Goloritzè are easily accessible and well organized (the latter is also particularly suitable for beginners who want to approach the world of trekking).
You can visit the Tacchi dell’Ogliastra or take a tour of the Supramonte with a stop, to name one, at the famous Gorropu Gorge. At reception we can help you choose.
MOTORBIKE TOUR
Hotel L’Ulivo is located on the backbone of State Road 125, a panoramic road that runs through the entire eastern part of Sardinia (Olbia-Cagliari) and is one of Italy’s most beautiful routes to drive on. The route is full of curves and counter-curves upon which the motorbike gives its best. Here you can admire the natural, wild, enchanting scenery, the Gulf of Orosei, the Gennargentu, and the Supramonte. It would be ideal to also stop and eat something typical and drink a good glass of wine offered by the locals.
LITTLE GREEN TRAIN
A fantastic experience that can be enjoyed with children, the train offers a beautiful trip into the wild Ogliastra hinterland.The Little Green Train passes through otherwise unreachable areas, following an impervious and adventurous railway route. There are different lines that change depending on the time of year; we will be able to give you the necessary information to best organize this particular experience.
